The company is looking for five (5) advisors to fill their compensated board of advisor positions.
Boardsi has been retained to conduct a board of directors and board of advisors search.
The company is a fast growing software company changing the global automotive repair industry. They develop mobile and web software for automotive repair shops, enabling repair shops to to build trust with consumers by sharing real-time photos, videos and status updates during the repair process.
The Opportunity: The company is looking for executives with knowledge of and or relationships with Latin America, and United States small and medium sized businesses. They currently develop software in one segment of SMBS, automotive dealerships and workshops. However, given their recent success during the pandemic, they plan to expand their offering to all SMBs which use appointments in their normal course of business. For example, dentists, doctors, home repair professionals and salons tend to be appointment-based and therefore ideal for customers.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the SMB segment (dealerships, automotive workshops, dentists, doctors, etc.), there are larger companies that represent hundreds of individual locations. They would be interested in any executives who are affiliated with these larger companies. For dealerships, this might be an OEM like “Volkswagen Mexico” or “Mercedes Benz Argentina” or a large dealership group which represents multiple brands. For automotive workshops, this might be chains like “Midas” or “Grease Monkey”. For dentists and doctors, this might be a large network/chain of dental practices or doctors offices. We can apply the same logic to all SMB verticals (large chain of salons, large network of home repair professionals). The executives need to also help find new, large clients.
