The company is looking for a CFO advisor to fill their compensated board of advisor positions.
Boardsi has been retained to conduct a board of directors and board of advisors search.
The company specializes in international software consulting in the full product lifecycle. Their globally distributed team works with growing businesses in different verticals. Verticals include…Health-tech, Pharma-tech, Africa-tech and Legal-tech. The company builds, operates, monitors and supports the software for every client.
With hopes to expand into the US healthcare system, the company is looking to bring on a CFO advisor to help rapidly optimize the US setup in terms of taxation and business model.
Tasks included and not limited to are as follows…
- Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and
investments(peer review)
- Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks (peer
review)
- Control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure
- Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
- Manage vendor relationships
- Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports(consolidation)
- Set up and oversee the company’s finance IT system (advise on what is on the
market, taxation)
- Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies (standard taxation setup
and tools)
Requirements and skills include:
- Proven experience as CFO or relevant role
- In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP)
- Ability to strategize and solve problems
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
- CPA is a strong advantage
- BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
MUST
- Healthcare/pharmacies experience
- Working w/consolidated financial statements
- Exposure to international taxation setup
