The Opportunity:
The company is looking for executives to join their board of directors. The company is looking for executives that can introduce them to new investors plus the following…
- Some knowledge in the tech world in one of these fields: semiconductors, data centers, telecom networking, photonics
- Someone with Business development profile
- Good connection in Silicon Valley or in the corporate VC’s
Example of past positions:
- VP Business development
- VP marketing
- VP Product management
- Example of past companies:
- Cisco, Nokia, Ericsson
- Intel, Broadcom, Qualcomm, etc
- Data centers hyperscalers, hardware-networking side: Facebook, Google, Amazon, etc
The company will meet:
Formally 4 meetings per year of 3 hours each (12 hours/yr)
They have about 4 to 6 update calls per year. Each call is on average 1.5 hour. (9 hours/yr)
Reading the monthly report (1 hour per month) (12 hours/yr)
Specific one on one calls with the CEO: 1 hour/2 months (6 hours/yr).
It is therefore a 40 hours/year job
