The company is looking to add eight (8) Advisors to fill their available compensated board positions.
Boardsi has been retained to conduct a board of directors and board of advisors search.
A United States based company they specialize in adult education. Specifically reading and adult literacy. With continued education and improved literacy the company hopes adults will have access to advanced employment and a better quality of life.
The Opportunity:
The company is looking for two advisors to work alongside the administrative team. One with business experience to help them with turnaround strategy, program design, finance and growth. The other advisor with non profit fundraising and revenue growth will be a plus.
The company is also looking to add 4-6 board of directors to add to a current board of 8 to make a total of 11-14 members. Executives with experience in finance, or a CPA is needed. A board secretary is also wanted, one who can be a strategic thinker/doer,
Organized, self starter, detail oriented and can meet deadlines.

- The vision for the future is for their agency to grow their operating budget from $600k to $1.5 in 24 months with more than 60% of the funds unrestricted via federal contracts, grants, earned revenue, donations, and corporate giving.
- They would like to grow their mutual fund to $600,000 in 3 to five years for contingency.
- Also, they would like to have their SBA loan with the balance of $300k paid off within 5-10 years.
They would like to grow their full time team with key positions as a CFO, Compliance Coordinator, Facilities Lead, and two education coaches.
- They would like to sell their current property and purchase another property with no mortgage that is conducive to their needs and position them for growth.
- Expand their Satellite Office model to expand their reach.
- Have a dynamic board of advisors and ambassadors working with staff to achieve strategic goals and vision.
