Martin Rowinski: Connecting High-level Executives to Prominent Businesses

Trailblazing CEO’s

Businesses and economies as we once knew them, changed dramatically during the second industrial revolution, especially in the United States and Europe. As businesses boomed and technology started to creep into everyday functions, the right executives in the right role became a necessary prerequisite. This led to the introduction of management consultants who helped company leaders adapt to the demands of the changing business landscape.

Since technology has changed so rapidly over the years, the ways that search firms seek out qualified candidates are also changing. Today, new roles require stronger and more complicated skill sets, especially at a management level, and because these roles are new, the tools needed to fill them must be more advanced.

Founded in 2016, Boardsi, a modern recruiting company has redefined traditional recruiting, helping businesses and executives grow to greater heights. Co-Founder and CEO Martin Rowinski explains, “We match high-level executives with companies looking to build and or grow their board of directors and/or board of advisors.” Established in 2016, Boardsi exists to offer its clients top-notch executives from all over the world, and its executives the perfect board position that would fit them.

Services You Can Count On

Boardsi was founded with the objective to reinforce business leadership and drive organizational growth. From start-ups to mid-level and Fortune 500 companies, Boardsi is steered by a team of expert advisors that help propel companies to the next level. What has placed this organization a cut above the rest is its ability to connect the right companies with the right people with the use of advanced technology.

The Boardsi platform is powered by custom AI-matching technology that makes seamless connections between executives and companies. This proprietary technology, coupled with meaningful human connection allows the organization to fill positions that are the right fit for the individual and directly benefit a company.

“We have the largest amount of compensated board positions in the world, unlike our competitors, states Martin. “We also have a private network where our customers can browse all the available positions and executives. They can apply directly to the position through there, coinciding with the human touch every day, making direct matches.”

Through this innovative combination, Boardsi has been responsible for altering the current ways of forming business relationships, as well as fast-tracking new ways that ease the relationship between businesses and executives.

“I work hard so I can play hard, and I make sure to play hard because that makes the hard work more rewarding.”

A Global Technology Pioneer

With over 25 years of experience providing leadership insight, developing and implementing strategic processes, and deploying new products to streamline services, Martin Rowinski has helped companies improve growth in areas such as lead generation and sales in the fields of recruiting, finance, technology, marketing, mortgage lending, and many more. A technology leader, executive recruitment expert, and international speaker with decades of c-level experience Martin founded Boardsi to address a niche in the market that was not being fulfilled.

At Boardsi, Rowinski created and spearheaded the development of the proprietary software that has allowed companies to effortlessly search for the most qualified Boards of Directors and Boards of Advisors from a pool of thousands of top executives across the U.S. and internationally.

Martin is also the author of the highly-acclaimed book, The Corporate Matchmaker, and has been featured on Forbes, Entrepreneur, FastCompany, NASDAQ, Bloomberg, CEO Today, and The Marquis Who’s Who (2022 – 2023).

A Steadfast Leader

Martin believes that a great leader must lead by example. An employee-centric boss, he often goes out of his way to ensure that his teams are happy. “I am always willing to complete any task that I ask my employees to complete.” Not only has this helped Martin connect with his workforce on a deeper level, but has also driven his team to deliver better results.

Another quality that a modern leader must possess is the ability to manage change, feels Martin. This was especially true when the covid pandemic had shaken the world, sending businesses into a panic, and affecting the lives of millions. Quickly adapting to a work-from-home model, Boardsi pushed forward, helping companies find the best talent from across the globe.

“This is a huge part of our culture because we are a testament to being able to hire the best, no matter where they live,” states Martin. “This also gives our employees the ability to have a remarkable family/work balance, which is something we are very proud to offer.”

During his free time, Martin loves to golf with his wife, chasing down birdies and eagles. Always starting his day bright and early with a workout at the gym, he makes it a point to have a strong work-life balance as well as a healthy mind and body. “I work hard so I can play hard, and I make sure to play hard because that makes the hard work more rewarding,” says he.

Always Learning and Growing

Born and brought up in Poland, Martin always dreamt of being a technology leader one day. “I believe my time growing up in Poland with my mother, and the sacrifices she made for me to have a better life have motivated me to be a leader,” he mentions.

A revered entrepreneur, author, and notable technology figurehead, Martin derives his inspiration from the people around him. He spends as much time as possible researching new avenues and opportunities to better his company, making a positive contribution to all those associated with him. Rowinski is also a regular partaker of technology events and was recently awarded The Bizz award, an award that recognizes leading businesses from different regions that contribute to the daily growth of the local world economy.

On a personal front, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, finding motivation from his wife on the one hand, and working to make a better world for his kids on the other. “My mother was and still is a strong inspiration in my life. Now I am lucky to have my wife and kids who inspire me every day,” he smiles.

Looking back, Martin feels grateful to have accomplished all that he has. “I believe that there is always room for growth and improvement but being happy with where you are and what you have done should make you feel as if you have made it. I do believe one should never stop learning and growing,” says Martin.

Word of Advice

To entrepreneurs on their own leadership journeys, Martin says, “Always be willing to do what you ask others to do. This will create respect for you from your employees and from you to them.”
